Why the Dallas Mavericks will win the NBA title.

It’s every NBA fan’s favorite time of year. Conference finals time.  From the all time greats 2002 Kings vs. Lakers WCF, to the trash that was the ECF from 2002-2007. It doesn’t get better than this time  of year.

2001 Bucks vs. 76ers is an oft forgotten great series.

The Dallas Mavericks are going to win the NBA championship this year. Mark it down, call your friends, and hide yo kids. The reason is simply that they’re the best team. I know it seems hard to believe but it’s the truth. Jason Kidd is playing like he’s not a day over 45, which is impressive since at 73 he’s the second oldest player in the NBA, only Greg Oden at 81 is older. Dirk remains the biggest match up problem in NBA history and is the only pre 2003 draft superstar who appears to still be in his prime. Peja has found the stroke he had in early 2003 when he was an MVP candidate for the Kings, and Jason Terry is the best 6th man in the NBA. That’s right, suck it Lamar why don’t you and your talentless attention whore wife go make another shitty show for E! to fluff up their schedule with. Fucking Lakers… The rest of the Mavs team is a perfect supporting cast. JJ Barea is annoying as fuck. Tyson Chandler has cemented his legacy as the best top2 draft pick in the 2001 NBA draft. Is Kwame Brown still in the league? Shawn Marion aka the Matrix aka Zits from Battletoads seemingly still has some gas left in the tank, and Brendon Haywood is still tall. Unless David Stern wants to send another message to Cubes ala the 2006 finals, the Mavericks and Dirk should finally hoist that phallic, golden trophy over their heads.

This is the best blog I have ever read.

One problem. In an earlier post you said the Heat would with the Championship. You can’t suddenly change predictions without explaining why your first prediction is no longer correct. Love the blog regardless.

Correction. It is the more recent post you stated the Heat would win, not an earlier post. So, I guess I’m going to need an explanation why the first prediction of the Mavs winning it all is no longer correct.

  4. Each post represents its own unique entity and should not be looked at in the context of other posts. Andrew you ass.

Oh I see. Thank you for promptly getting back to me. I will have to look at each entry differently from now on.
